Strengthening ties with CityUHK Connect schools
City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted a Lunar New Year Lunch gathering for CityUHK Connect members on 27 February to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Organized by the Office of the Vice-President (Community Engagement), the event aimed to facilitate meaningful exchanges on collaborative opportunities for the future.
Professor Chan Chi Hou, Vice-President (Community Engagement) and Professor Steve Wong Hang, Associate Vice-President (Community Engagement), welcomed the principals from CityUHK Connect schools and exchanged views on collaborating for the benefit of the next generation.
The lunch also featured a brief presentation by Professor Ray Cheung, Associate Provost (Digital Learning), who introduced CityUHK's research achievement of undergraduates. His insights highlighted the university's commitment to providing students with hands-on research experiences that nurture their academic growth and innovation.
This successful gathering provided an excellent platform for secondary school principals to connect with CityUHK's leadership and explore collaborative ways to enhance educational experiences for students.
