About City Quest
CityUHK is launching a community engagement programme, “City Quest”, to engage higher education institutions, schools, as well as Hong Kong and international communities in exploring and experiencing Hong Kong’s rich, diverse and unique characteristics. Three iconic activities including a story writing competition, a docent ambassador programme and a smartphone photo contest, with a view to engaging diverse communities to highlight HK’s attractions, people and cultures, will commence in June 2025 and continue until February 2026.
- Story Writing Competition – to highlight the city's attractions, people and cultures through storytelling by participants’ Hands (June to July 2025)
- Docent Ambassadors – to foster intercultural and intergenerational collaboration by participants’ Footprints, delving into the wonders of Hong Kong. (July – Dec 2025)
- Smartphone Photo Contest – to promote vibrant attractions via the art of smartphone photography and participants’ Eyes, and strengthen the local community for international outreach. (October 2025 – December 2025)
