Congratulations to Professor LOW Fatt Kin Kelvin, Dr Lauren Yu-Hsin LIN and Dr Daniel PASCOE on their promotion and substantiation

Professor LOW Fatt Kin Kelvin, professor at School of Law at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), has acquired academic tenure starting from January 2021. Kelvin’s interests focus primarily on property law and trust law. His publications have been cited by the courts in Australia, England & Wales, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, law commissions in Australia, England & Wales, New Zealand, and Scotland, the Singapore Law Reform Committee, the Irish Sales Law Review Group as well as leading texts throughout the Commonwealth.
Starting from July 2020, Dr Lauren Yu-Hsin LIN and Dr Daniel PASCOE, assistant professors at School of Law, CityU will both be promoted as tenured associate professors.
Dr Lin’s research interests focus on empirical and economic analysis of corporate law and capital markets regulation. She has published with leading academic journals and has been interviewed by major media, including The Economist and Bloomberg, as a corporate law expert.
Dr Pascoe’s research interests include comparative criminal law, Southeast Asian law, Islamic Law and transitional justice. He has published widely in academic journals and is the author of two books. He contributes regular opinion pieces within the international media on issues of crime, punishment and pardon in Asia.

香港城市大學（城大）法律學院教授劉發健教授將於2021年1月起獲得城大教授的終身聘任期。劉教授的研究興趣主要集中在財產法和信託法上。澳大利亞、英格蘭和威爾士、香港、馬來西亞和新加坡的法院，澳大利亞、英格蘭和威爾士、新西蘭和蘇格蘭的法律委員會，新加坡法律改革委員會，愛爾蘭銷售法評論小組，以及不少英聯邦的著名期刊都曾引用他的著作。
城大法律學院助理教授林郁馨博士和PASCOE Daniel博士將於2020年7月起晉升為終身聘任的副教授。
林博士的研究興趣集中在公司法和資本市場監管的實證和經濟分析上。她曾在有名的學術期刊上發表文章，並曾作為公司法專家接受《經濟學人》和《彭博》等主流媒體的採訪。
Pascoe博士的研究興趣包括比較刑法，東南亞法律，伊斯蘭法和過渡時期司法。他在學術期刊上廣泛發表文章，並且是兩本書的作者。他在國際媒體上發表有關亞洲犯罪、懲罰和赦免問題的定期評論。
