Professor Condon Lau, Associate Professor from the Department of Physics of the College of Science, won a Gold Medal at the Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival (SVIIF) 2024.

Congratulations to Professor Chun Kit Kwok, Associate Professor from the Department of Chemistry of the College of Science (CSCI), as one of the awardees of the RGC Research Fellow Scheme in 2024/25.

CityUHK has performed remarkably well in science subjects in the 2024 global rankings. Two science subjects, Physical Chemistry and Condensed Matter Physics, break into the Top 10 globally. Many other science subjects also showed significant achievement in rankings.

Professor Xin Wang, Dean of the College of Science (CSCI) at CityUHK, and Professor Clemens Kaminski, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, signed a MoU focused on joint research and scholarship collaborations in May 2024.
