CityUHK 30th Anniversary Short Video Competition Prize Presentation Ceremony

Congratulations to all awardees!
The Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted a prize presentation ceremony for the 30th Anniversary Short Video Competition, celebrating the outstanding achievements of awardees from both the CityUHK community and secondary school students. With approximately 50 submissions, the competition aimed to highlight meaningful connections within the CityUHK family and the broader community, marking this significant milestone for the university.
The ceremony was officiated by Prof. Chan Chi Hou, Vice-President (Community Engagement) of CityUHK, Prof. Ho Tat-kei Alfred, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Prof. Huang Yi-hui, Head of the Department of Media and Communication.
Prof. Huang said that the 30th anniversary of CityUHK represents an important milestone in the university’s commitment to excellence in education. “I’m delighted to see that each video showcased impressive creativity and storytelling, especially one video that illustrated a secondary school participant’s journey to self-confidence through her role in the school TV. Once again, congratulations to all awardees!”
