Professor Chan returned to Hong Kong from the UK to join CityU in 1988, where his research and teaching focused on radio frequency technologies. The University’s rapid advancement throughout the years encouraged him to continuously develop his academic knowledge and enhance his teaching strategies, prioritising understanding each student’s individual challenges and fostering deeper insights and engagement among his students. He expressed profound pride in his students’ accomplishments in the industry.

Professor Chan said, “I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to grow with the University and my students. I will continue my efforts to contribute to the University and society.”
