A delegation of Scottish academics and researchers explored collaboration opportunities during a visit to the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 28 June.

During the visit, Dr Michael Leung Kwok-hi, Associate Dean of SEE, introduced the School and Dr Carol Lin Sze-ki, Dr Patrick Lee Hon-kwan and Dr Walid Daoud, all of whom are assistant professors in the School, gave presentations on their research projects. The delegation also visited SEE laboratory facilities at the Science Park on 27 June.

The purpose of the visit was to look into developing strategic partnerships between Hong Kong and Scottish higher education institutions in terms of academic expertise, research focus and models of working in the areas of energy and life sciences.
