Students from the Department of Marketing (MKT) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) were honoured at the Student Marketing Consultancy Projects Award Presentation Ceremony on 28 May for their outstanding consultancy contributions to seven corporations.

 

The seven corporations are Song Corporation of Hong Kong Limited, King Bakery Holdings Limited, eBay Hong Kong, Wilson Communications Limited, 3 Kings Holding Limited, ZUJI Limited and Radica System Limited.

The seven teams received the award for their special attention to conducting consumer surveys on behalf of the corporations in order to understand recent consumer patterns, psychology and behaviour. The winning teams have also tailor-made a professional online marketing promotion plan for two of the corporations.

 

Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included Professor Dou Wenyu, Associate Dean of the College of Business (CB), Professor Su Chenting, Head of MKT, Mr Alex Tham Koy-siong, Assistant Dean of CB and Senior Teaching Fellow of MKT, Dr Vincent Fok Shun-cheong, Teaching Fellow of MKT, and representatives of the seven corporations.
