Real-time monitoring of cardiovascular status is crucial for preventing cardiovascular disease (CVD)-related deaths, particularly in cases of arrhythmia. However, currently available devices, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) and PDUs, are rigid, expensive and incapable of providing continuous cardiovascular monitoring. To address these limitations, we developed a patented pulse sensor (FlexiPulse) that enables real-time monitoring of cardiovascular health status through the measurement of pulse waveform, heart rate, arterial stiffness and blood pressure.

Our pulse sensor incorporates AI-assisted intelligent evaluation and diagnosis, providing accurate and immediate assessment of cardiovascular health. It offers several key advantages, including high flexibility, ultrathin design, self-attaching capability, and exceptional sensitivity and accuracy.

FlexiPulse demonstrated clinical detection precision of over 93% and can be used at multiple sites, providing multiple parameters and multimodality measurements. Our design also involves the integration of wireless electronics, algorithm implantation and artificial intelligence, facilitating seamless data transmission and analysis.

This breakthrough innovation offers immense potential for improving cardiovascular monitoring in clinical settings, as well as significant commercialisation opportunities. FlexiPulse has strong commercial potential, given its unique features, high precision and versatility. Our technology opens up new possibilities for personalised and continuous cardiovascular health monitoring.
