Founded in 2019, E3A Healthcare is a medical device company specialising in the development of innovative solutions for newborn and women’s healthcare. The company’s initial focus is on newborn jaundice monitoring. Newborn jaundice is a common disease affecting over 85% of Asian babies. Without timely treatment, it may lead to irreversible neural damage and disability. The high cost of monitoring devices has resulted in treatment remaining inaccessible for many families.
In light of this observation, we have successfully reduced the cost of our jaundice meter by 150 times through our technical breakthroughs. We have also introduced a deposit-free rental model, making at-home jaundice monitoring affordable and accessible. We have already established a presence in 120 hospitals and serve tens of thousands of families every year.
Our product range also includes a fetal-monitoring product line, which offers the world’s first and only passive fetal monitor. Traditional doppler fetal monitors can cause neurological development dysfunction under prolonged exposure. Our device emits ZERO ultrasound and ZERO radiation, but it offers medical-grade monitoring for fetal heart rate, fetal movement and contractions. We are the leading home-use fetal monitoring product in Mainland China, with over 400 newborn lives saved to date.
Furthermore, we aim to launch our women’s health product line next year, which will include solutions for non-invasive pelvic floor repair and menstrual pain relief.
With a strong technical focus, our portfolio includes over 130 original IP and patents and multiple NMPA and FDA clearances, and we have raised over US$6 million in venture capital.
