Mr Wilson Chang is currently the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of GUTolution, a pioneering microbiome biotechnology company dedicated to extend human healthspan beyond 120 years. GUTolution specialises in at-home diagnostics, precision nutrition, personalised healthtech, and health-intelligence-as-a-service (HIaaS), leveraging translational medicine, next-generation sequencing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology. The company's flagship product is an AI-powered at-home precision microbiome health solution designed to reverse chronic diseases at a low cost.
Mr Chang holds a BBA (Hons) in Actuarial Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise has been instrumental in driving GUTolution's mission to revolutionise gut health. Before founding GUTolution, Mr Chang gained extensive experience in MNCs, where he developed scalable tech solutions.
Mr Chang with leadership and entrepreneurship experiences. He has led a company of more than 100 employees to realise a revenue increase with a 45% CAGR from 2015 to 2021. He also expanded the company's market share from 18% to 70% and increased production capacity tenfold. Mr Chang's strategic vision led to the company receiving the “High Technology Expertise” Certificate in 2018 and implementing QA systems TS16949 and ISO14001.
Mr Chang contributions have been recognised in the business sector. In 2021, Mr Chang was awarded the "Star of the Year" by the Shanghai Association of Taiwanese Investment Enterprises (SHTAIXIE) and currently serves as the president of the alumni association of HKTA Tanghin Memorial Secondary School (THAA).
Under Mr Chang's leadership, GUTolution has earned numerous accolades, including being a finalist in the SelectUSA Global Tech Pitching Competition (March 2024), participation in the HKSTP Incubation Programme (December 2023), receiving the HK Tech 300 Angel Fund (August 2023), selection for the HK AI Lab Accelerator Program (June 2023), and being named in the Global Top 100 by Alibaba JUMPSTARTER 2023 (June 2023).
Through his visionary leadership and relentless pursuit of innovation, Mr Chang continues to make a profound impact on global health and the biotech industry, driving GUTolution towards new heights in personalised healthtech and longevity.
