Damask is an ancient tribute with a long historical origin. Fabrics produced during the Tang and Song Dynasties sprung up nationwide. It has become a popular material mainly used for calligraphy, painting, and mounting in modern times. In 2017, Huzhou Yunhe Shuanglin Ghatpot Silk Co., Ltd. was designated the protection base of "Shuanglin Silk Weaving Technique," a prestigious recognition in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
