Conference Venue

Lau Ming Wai Academic Building (LAU) 

• Getting off the MTR Kowloon Tong Station, look for Festival Walk exit. In Festival Walk, on Level LG1, there is a Pedestrian Subway which will lead you to CityU campus.
• Please prepare the CityU QR code for scanning at entrance gate.
• After passing the pedestrian subway and entrance gate, go to the garden on the right. Go to the far right and keep going forward.
• Take the 4 elevators on the right to reach the 5th floor of LAU. The elevator on the left is not accessible.
• After getting out of the elevator, go to the right.

Conference Check-in & Information Desk

All participants will receive two emails, each containing a QR code, resulting in two QR codes for each participant.

QR code 1: Each delegate and participant must present this QR code for conference check-in. Upon check-in, you will receive your name badges.

QR code 2: Access control measures are in place at the University, requiring all visitors to pre-register. We will assist in registering you 3 days prior to the conference, and you will receive a QR code from the CityU system. Please present this entrance QR code to the CityU security personnel when entering the campus.

Badges

All participants are required to wear their badges at all times throughout their presence during the conference.

Adverse Weather Arrangement

Before the Conference

If red rainstorm warning or typhoon signal No. 1 or No. 3 is issued, conference will continue as normal.

If the black rainstorm signal, typhoon signal number 8 or above is hoisted on or after 7 am, the morning session of the live conference will be cancelled. And it will be conduct in webinar with live streaming.

If the black rainstorm signal, typhoon signal number 8 or above is hoisted on or after 12:00 noon, the afternoon session of the live conference will be cancelled. And it will be conduct in webinar with live streaming.

During the Conference

When any of the rainstorm or typhoon signals are hoisted during the conference, the conference reserves the right to amend the conference schedule. Announcements will be made onsite and conference website.

About CityU

The conference will take place at Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall, 5/F, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building on CityU campus which is just a few minutes’ walk from the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) Kowloon Tong Station.
