Startie is a Talent and Team Matching Platform for innovative and business competitions, whose aim is to create an effective talent acquisition ecosystem. This project team was judged one of the top 10 teams in the 2022 Alibaba IdeaPOP Competition. Currently, it is an incubation project of the Wu Jieh Yi Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
Startie has one of the largest online business communities specialising in entrepreneurship and corporation competitions. With AI technology, the platform provides and integrates business challenges, funding information and real time, online talent matching suggestions 24/7. We believe that providing outward solutions for future generations can achieve multiplexing workflow and solve the challenge involving difficult experience accession and team formation.
- Competition information Integration:
Users can readily check the latest competitions, with details, such as objectives, team requirements and application deadlines.
- New Era Team Formation System –AI Algo matching system:
Users can efficiently form teams and recruit teammates with the AI matching function, and suggest members with a suitable academic background, capabilities and personality traits. Under this system, individuals will be automatically invited to join teams suitable for them without having to browse through all the listed projects.
- Personal ability dashboard:
Each user’s activity log, with details such as team participation and competition results, will be analysed on a dashboard. Other users and HR professionals from different companies will be able to access the members’ dashboards to verify their ability and competition experience.
