It is with much pleasure to announce the visiting appointment of Dr. Xin Xiaying at SEE.

Dr. Xin recently joined the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP), CityU, as Research Assistant Professor.  She is also holding a concurrent appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor in SEE.

Dr. Xin’s research interests involve water pollution, with particular emphasis on emerging pollutants and toxicity, ecological risk assessment, and environmental remediation.  She has published over 20 papers in the peer-reviewed literature on environmental toxicity and remediation.  Her expertise is in synchrotron-based technologies, nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, ecological risk assessment, chemical analysis and environmental system modeling.
