Congratulations to SEE PhD candidate, Guangdong Duan, for winning an Excellent Poster Award at The American Meteorological Society’s 97th Annual Meeting, Seattle. He presented the work on the ‘Mixing of a Passive Scalar in an Urban-Street Canyon’ at the recently concluded Symposium on the Urban Environment. Mr Duan is currently in his Year 3 PhD studies under the supervision of Dr Keith Ngan.

The AMS Annual Meeting is the world's largest yearly gathering for the water, weather and climate community. The 97th AMS Annual Meeting recorded over 4,400 attendees including scientists, educators, students and other professionals from a diverse set of scientific disciplines in atmospheric sciences.
