SHEN Zhenda & SUN Tianxing
First Prize in CUMCM 2022
Mr SHEN Zhenda (沈臻達)and Mr SUN Tianxing (孫天星), two third-year students, teamed up with Data Science student Junye DU (杜駿曄) won the First Prize in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling 2022 (CUMCM, 全國大學生數學建模競賽). They are the only team from Hong Kong to win the First Prize in the competition.
CUMCM is an annual contest for undergraduates all over the world, organised by the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM) since 1992. Over 54,200 teams from Mainland China, HKSAR and Macau participated in CUMCM 2022. You may read the full list of recipients here.
