Three BSCM Mathematics students showcased innovative projects at CityU Employers’ Luncheon 2023

Three BSCM Mathematics students, Mr ChengChun Wun, Mr Shen Zhenda and Ms ZhaoYuqiao showcased their innovative projects to the guests during the CityU Employers’ Luncheon 2023.
From left: Prof DAI Dan, Mr Shen Zhenda, Mr Cheung Chun Wun, Ms Zhao Yuqiao and Prof LO Wing CheongMr Cheng Chun Wun’s team proposed a unique continuous deep-learning framework for biomedical image segmentation which is faster, greater and noiseless.Mr Shen Zhenda and his teammates worked on the passive location with bearing-only in formation flight of unmanned aerial vehicles. Shen’s team won the national First Prize in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM) 2022. They are the only team from Hong Kong to win the First Prize in the competition.Ms Zhao Yuqiao worked on the in-vehicle road surface condition detection system.
