Outstanding Research Award
Professor Hua Zhang, Herman Hu Chair Professor of Nanomaterials
Professor Zhang was elected as a Foreign Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences (2020), an Academician of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials (2015), and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2014). In 2016, he was listed in the top 300 most-cited researchers in the field of materials science and engineering (Elsevier Scopus). In 2015-2021, he was listed in the "Highly Cited Researchers" in Chemistry and Materials Science (Clarivate Analytics/Thomson Reuters)
Outstanding Research Award for Junior Faculty:
Dr. Chun Kit Kwok, Associate Professor
Dr. Kwok received the Excellent Young Scientists Fund under the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2022 and was recognised as an elected member of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences (YASHK) in 2021. In 2019, Dr. Kwok was one of the recipients of the Croucher Innovation Award and the CityU President’s Award.
