BMS’ Successful Securing of General Research Fund (GRF) 2023/2024.

CityU Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) is pleased to announce the results of the Research Grants Council’s General Research Fund (GRF) for 2023–2024. BMS has once again demonstrated its excellence in research by obtaining nine GRF grants totaling over HK$12M.

The GRF aims to supplement the eight UGC-funded universities’ own research support to researchers who have achieved or have the potential to achieve research excellence. Among the awarded projects in BMS, seven of them have obtained large grants of over $1.4M.

The outstanding results are a testament to our faculty’s hard work and dedication. The Department would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the following colleagues and express its gratitude to all faculty staff for their contributions to submitting high-standard proposals in this round.
