HUANG Yu, the Chair Professor and Jeanie Hu Professor of Biomedical Sciences in BMS, CityU was elected as Vice-President of the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences (CAPS) (中國生理學(xué)會(huì)副理事長) at the 26th National Congress of CAPS on 5 November 2022.

CAPS was founded in 1926 by a group of Chinese physiologists in Peking Union Medical School. The first and second President of CAPS was Professor Robert K. S. LIM (林可勝教授). The current President is Professor WANG Yun (王韻), Peking University. CAPS currently consists of 24 professional committees (專業(yè)委員會(huì)). CAPS is a nationwide academic organisation under the auspices of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology.
